A Striped Field Mouse, Apodemus agrarius, at my hand in the Drina Valley, Eastern Bosnia. This lovely but dead animal was brought in by the cat; it was the first time I saw this species.

Good details, but here is a caution: I hope you know about Hanta Virus. If you get flu-like symptoms, you should see a doctor. Precausions to take: wash with a bleach solution.

By the way the Hanta virus.
it's an interesting shot,for the A.agrarius is a vole with a restricted range in the eastern italy and balcan region.
Few years go there was one in my garden too.
