This is a splendid portrait of this very beautiful horny adder.
I really like the attractive and exciting composition of your shot - with the snake comming toward to camera. The details and textures are very neat and sharp and the shallow depth of field makes sure your subject is well isolated from the BG. Splendid low-angled point of view, too.
The light is perhaps a bit too strong, but nothing really bad.
