But, imho, you should use shadow/highlight in Photoshop to reduce shadows and highlights.

Beautiful blue flowers, seems like blue bells. Very sharp details and the natural lighting has brought out the best in them. Considering that blue as a colour is difficult to shoot, you have done a commendable job. Very bright and fresh looking shot. Excellent POV and composition. Kudos.
