Hello Ena,
Not easy to find that species. This is a juvenile form of a Pentatomidae. A Carpocoris fuscipinus maybe. See on this link the adult and a juvenile. Best regards,
Catherine

Hello Ena

First of all let me say it is a very nice picture of this shield bug. The handling of light is very good without burning the highlight. The background is well burred to set off the main subject in the best way. The colours look very natural and I like the cropping/composition.

I am not sure about the ID, but I am pretty sure that it is a nymph of the family Pentatomidae. We have one in Denmark which is very close - Eurydema oleracea. These bugs have 4-5 stages as nymphs before they transform to adults so it can be a little difficult.

My advice must be – that is if you are curious enough – to take one home together with a piece of the plant you found it on and keep it in a marmalade glass or something a like. Keep it moisture in one of the foamy green things used to stick flowers in and wait. In a few days it will transform to an adult bug and then you can look it up in a bug book.

That is how I do and then I also have the pleasure to learn a little about their life.

Have a nice summer
Mogens

Hi Ena.
I was unwell a little and could not answer at once. Many thanks for high estimation of my spider shot. I am very pleased.

You managed to fine a charming subject for shooting. Both plant with cute small flower on the top and attractive bug are looked perfectly. Lights, colours, framing and composition of the image are very good. Details of the insect is excellent. (I met this species few time too.) My best wishes and TFS.
Alexei.
