My first response to this is: duck! I got an Osprey shot like this last year. These shots are amazing because it's puts the viewer face to face with the subject. It takes good aim and the ability to be quick and you, my friend, have both.

There seems to be a couple of hot spots on the back, but so what? I can see the details, and the background is out of focus which leaves the subject. Nice job, especially since you have to react almost without thinking to get these wonderful shots.

Amazingly beautiful, good composition and sharp focus on the vulture with interesting bokeh.

Congratulations for this magnificient picture. It's good to see another point of view among all these pictures that just show the bird in the blue sky! Here, the background adds to the value of the picture and the spectator gets the feeling that bird will leave the frame in a second and hurt one's face...
