Back from holiday in Bulgaria just in border to Turkey.
Was waiting for Bulgarian customs official to change work in shifts.This BIG grasshopper was landed on the sidewalk.I tok a few shots of him.He is not afraid of anyting :( . I toucht him and he did not do anything .
Send few ather shots of him laiter if i have tim.
Have no ID of him :(

Hello Ozcan,

I like this close-up of the grasshopper. Image is very sharp showing great details of the insect. Very nice worm light rendering well the colors.

This just goes to show that the skill is in the photographer and not the fancy camera...The sp700? You have pushed it way beyond its limits..I am truly impressed! The money you spent on that camera gave you better results than my camera in which tax was same...my goodness..Congrats!

Hi Ozcan,

You did an amazing job with this close-up of the big grasshopper. He posed perfectly for you and you were lucky you had to wait for the customs official. Details of the intricate looking insect are superb. Wonderful natural colors and shadings. This would be perfect in a textbook.

Wow but this grasshopper surely has long legs. A super macro shot. Clear and bright details. The big eyes are just spectacular. It almost looks as if this hopper is displaying its ribs. The markings and patterns on the body are really beautiful. A very special photo, and most enjoyable to look at. Thanks for sharing.
