Hope you had a good holiday! This is a great capture of the beautiful Green Lizard. I like its pose and the close-up of the scales and the foot. Very sharp details and I like the bright green colour brought out by the nice light. Very well composed too.

Nice pose of this green skink, the color is so vivid and well composed, its look like sneaking and targeting a prey (?) or just doing common sun basking in this end of summer before going down to its burrow on winter

I hope you had a superb time in the Balkans and that you have many beautiful photos to proove it :))
I have only 1 more week of working here and then i'll do some travelling and maybe, finally, have some time for photography. Anyway, i'll be home towards the end of the month and resume my active participation here again.

This is a splendid portrait of this L. viridis and also a very beautifully collored specimen. The sharpness and details it is presented with are impressive and the exposure is well balanced. Very nice POV and DOF as well.

Hello Radomir,

This is a very good profile portrait of a colorful lizard! I am impressed by the sharpness you could achieve with a compact camera!
The composition is very good! you correctly distributed the empty space around the subject and placed its eyes close to one of the hotspots of the picture. Usually I prefer plain or blurred backgrounds but I don't mind to have a glance at the subject's environment.
The textures in both the lizard's skin and the rock are fantastic! The details are razor sharp and the exposure well controlled. I appreciate the soft shadows where the details are perfectly visible. Well done! Thank you!
