A beautiful capture of this beautiful nymph of Nezara viridula. We also do have a same type here but not so colorful. Very good details and composition. Thanks a lot for sharing.

Another very nice and quality macro from you, my friend!
I understand why you were thinking about waterproof elements with the weather being like that :)) I for one was lucky to catch only sunny and warm days here since i came and because of that, i went yesterday for a little outing to test my new camera on "home groud" :)
Anyway, back to your shot, i really like the very sharp details here and the excellent textures visible on the back of this bug.
The colors are very good, too while the pattern created by them on its back looks very beautiful.

It's a pleasure to find this crystal clear picture of a colorful creature! I'm impressed by the outstanding image quality and overall sharpness of your photo.
The composition was well achieved, using guidelines to lead the eyes to the subject. Also, the most powerful points of the composition were well taken advantage of. I can't help stressing enough the overall contrast (including chromatic contrast between red and green).
The exposure was perfectly controlled to present us such a large amount of well preserved and good looking details. The rendition of the reflected light from both the leaves and larva body is next to perfect and enhances the great looking textures.
An excellent post my friend. Thank you for sharing!

Fine capture of a Shieldbug nymph in the rain, the raindrops adding additional interest to the composition. The sharpness is excellent and the use of flash has not led to any disturbing glares.

This is an interesting insect that I have never seen before I think. The water makes the insect and vegetation brilliant and this is a nice effect. Color saturation and details are very good. Your notes are also informative. I wish my camera was waterproof as today it is grey and rainy and I would feel like doing pictures :( Thanks!

A beautiful view of a nymph of this nasty species. We have here in Argentina, was unafortunately introduced. The level of details and sharpness is excellent and colours nicely strong, I never see one with such intense red colors.
