This is a very beautiful landscape ! The light is wonderful too, as well as the composition, the POV and the colors. I love how the mountains fade into mist, in the BG. the atmosphere in the picture is excellent too - peaceful, serene, a bit mysterious. It looks like you were sitting on the top of the world ! :-)

The only thing I do not copletely agree with is the sky. Maybe you could have cropped 1 or 2 cm at the top of the photo, because I think there is too much sky. But on the other hand, there are wonderful colors in the sky, so maybe it is better to keep it like it is...I dont't know...

Anyway, it is a wonderful picture. Very well done, and thanks for sharing !

Another beauty presented. Beautiful sky, wonderful color space. Well captured layers. Perfect timing in sunset. I like your way of seeing. And an extra regard for using gimp :)
About Valerie's opinion I think keeping the sky was the good choice. What she was might about to express is your shot not keeping the rule of thirds. But I think this time giving 1/2 - 1/2 to the land and sky works just as well. The point is to make it harmonic and you did.
