Hello Radomir !
I love to see bats on TN, specially when it is such a good picture. Amazing sharp details, excellent use of the flash, splendid composition and POV, and I also like the ur on the bat - it looks so soft I just want to stretch my hand and touch it ! :-) The black BG makes it stand out very nicely. Very well done !
Valerie.

The location of the image taken and what it is....it at least demands a certain amount of respect both in science and a tad of mythology. Well seen and noted Radomir..

Hi Radomir,
It is very interesting your photo with the bat. Very good way of using the flash obtaining natural looking colors and good texture of bat's wings and fur. Image quality is also very good with clear sharp details all over the bat's body.

Hi Radomir,
I am bat lover:-) I think I could get your best wishes upon me:). This an another perfect bat capture of your excelent photography as usual my friend. By the way, I noticed that the title imposing the etymology of the "acrobat" word:) stemning from the "hanging up side down" behaviour under the ceiling :p. Thanks for sharing this beauty my friend!

A perfect specimen captured quite expertly, a good heading, more than adequate information on the upside-down stand and a fine joke in the end. What can one ask more of a friend?
Thanks and cheers my friend!

Very amusing pun caption to this lively image of a bat, Radomir. I like it!
The "acrobatic" Bat looks handsome when you find its face within the legs of a large 'M' letter.

hello Radomir,
When I returned, I also found your great captures of bats. This is excellent macro for Rhinolophus hipposideros. You are right. As you remember, I wrote your former shot of same species. Horseshoe bats can be identified their nose leaves: horseshow, sella and lancet. We also use finger ratios, especially ones of fourt finger segments on wing. For the Lesser, laterally, upper part of sella round and lower part extend to front. Lancet is almost exact triange. I think these are enough for identification. On the contrary some members may be say not scientific page, this is TN:)
greeting and thanks for this great capture and information. best wishes

Hi Radek
How are you, my friend? I hope you are well. Any news from your paper?
I'm afraid it's again really cold here, too :(( But it's not really snowing like in Poland. However, i'm sure that all these strange chances affect nature...and not in he good way :(
I was rather busy these days and haven't had any TN time lately. I see you've posted some bats now...very interesting subjects. Here is something you might not have known: my middle name is Vlad and i was born in the north-western part of Romania - a place that used to be known as Transylvania :)))
This is a very nice picture and presentation from you, my friend!
I really like the very good close-up here and the impeccable sharpness that you present it with.
The use of flash is very good and brigs just enough light on it, the DOF is spot-on and the composition is very nice as well.
We have that same joke about bats here, too, but i was nice to remind it again :)
Thank you for you very kind words on my photo, take care and all the best!

The use of flash, the POV, the good focusing and camera skills have led to a very fine image of this species.
You have awakened a latent interest in bats and I also thank you for that my friend,
Best wishes, Ivan

Hi Radomir,
The quality of the image is very good.
Usually these animals are located at far distances, but you managed to get a very clear image of the bat.
Also the pose got is very representative of the species.

Pozdrawiam
Ania

Great shot!! Reminds me of batman. The way the wings are folded in a cross looks good. Also the name of the cave is interesting, Devil's Cave :) . And very useful note.
