Hi Adrian,
We posted similar photos although mine is without water. The dry landscape does looks related and the darker BG is about the same.
I like the baren look and the clean composition. Just a few elements make for a stron composition. Positioning the landmass centrally does not bother me at all.

Hi Adrian,

The point of view is showing the details and colors of the island of Pag and of the mountains. It is also leading our eyes toward the mountains which is giving depth to the composition. The light has a good effect on the island and giving darker colors to the mountains. have a nice day.
