I can see from her eyes that she had no interest at all making your acquaintance. the picture looks a little disorderly with all the plants anround and in front of the duck, but you cannot always get it the way you want. Anyway I like the picture and the atmosphere.

Looks to me to be a typical female Mallard just squatted down amongst so foilage, and hope not to be seen only by not moving, a lot of female fail to make it through the breeding season.
The over exposure at the top is slightly distracting, 2 schools of thought here 1) is to just darken the area with burntool in post processing, or 2) use flash to even out the the exposure for the whole picture. though I could see why you might not use this option because of not wishing to disturb her.
