[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Walking through the ruins of Dvigrad castle, not far from Pula, I took a picture of this beatiful butterfly, which was climbing to the top of the blue flower.

This butterly belongs to the family of the Pieridae.

I love the soft colors and textures of this photo. The butterfly seems so delicate clinging to this flower. Nice lighting and composition.

Hello Sam!
Superb shot! your butterfly is just amazing. And on this flower looks really interesting.
Great idea, nice POV and good job!

This picture is just perfect! It is so sharp and the colors are wonderful! When you look at the picture, it makes you think you can actually feel how delicate the butterfly is and how bumpy the stalk of the flower is and how fuzzy the flowers are!

Very good shot of an Aporia crataegi (Linnaeus, 1758)!
5* photo!
It's a Pieridae Pierinae family.
It's rare in my country, Portugal, and I only have three pictures of it.
It's a very beautiful white butterfly!

Hello Samuele! What a lovely delicate capture of this beautiful butterfly. The muted tones bring out the subtle colour of the wings, and how nice that you caught him actually feeding! Wonderfully composed from a very nice POV! TFP, and thank you! Linda

Like the contrast of colours here.Cool composition.

Hi Samuele,
The composition of this photograph is superb. The butterfly has very fine details and the flower contrasts well with him. Cheer for the details, contrast and the splendid colors.
TFS, cordially,
Jean-Patrick
