Aliens-like colony? No it is common woodlouse. Many people are frightened to even touch this animal, but it is absolutely harmless.
WOODLOUSE:
Common names for woodlice vary throughout the English-speaking world. They include: "armadillo bug", "cheeselog", "doodlebug", "monkeypea", "pill bug", "roly-poly", "potato bug", "roll up bug", "slater" and "sow bug".
