Hi everyone,
today I I send picture whites moth which is a common in our region, but here on TN I have seen just one His picture (from Ulla).
In her title is: black-veined,therefore I I send capture bottom wings,there is that a better see.Capture upper parties wings I send to the Workshop.

Black-veined moth (Siona lineata)

Description
Adult Black-veined moths are white in colour with black veins that are more obvious on the underside of the wings. Females differ from males in that they have slightly shorter wings and thicker, shorter bodies. The caterpillars are grey-brown in colour with darker lines along the back and sides.
Range
This species was once known from Kent, Dorset, Sussex, Essex, and Somerset, but now remains in just four sites in Kent . It has a wide distribution in Europe and extends as far east as Siberia.
Habitat
This moth inhabits lowland calcareous grasslands dominated by tor-grass (Brachypodium pinnatum) where the main larval foodplant marjoram (Origanum vulgare) is present within the sward.
Biology
The adults are on the wing in May and June and are largely crepuscular. They rest in long grasses during the day from which they are easily disturbed, sometimes flying naturally on warm, dull days. Caterpillars hatch from the eggs laid by the adults; they are present from July to May and hibernate through the winter, emerging the following spring when they pupate. The adults then emerge, starting the cycle again. This type of lifecycle is known as 'single brooded' or 'univoltine', as only one generation (or 'brood') is produced in the year.
Threats
It is thought that the drastic decline of the Black-veined moth is the result of habitat burning, whether accidental or deliberate, over-grazing and lack of suitable management leading to scrub encroachment The reason for the habitat management requirements of Siona lineata, and the probable cause of the contraction of its range, is the species’ requirement for transitional calcareous grassland within a specific stage of succession. The required habitat must exhibit a well-developed sward-mosaic of grass tussocks and herb growth, of sufficient length to offer protection to larvae throughout the winter. In the past, Siona lineata was doubtless able to find alternative suitable breeding habitat when an existing site became overgrown, cultivated or otherwise unsuitable. This is no longer the case, and the maintenance of suitable habitat at existing colony sites must remain the priority.

Very artistic shot. Superb exposure of the white wings and amazing patterns. Immaculate sharpness and clarity. I like your unusual POV but it could not have been better. The head and body are hidden but that illustrates a different perspective. Excellent DOF and the resultant smooth BG. Very nicely composed. Kudos.

Hello Milos,
Excellent capture of the underside of the Black-veined White moth. This is sharp with fine contrasting blurred greenery in the BG and composed well to give enough space above the antennae.

The contrast green and white is so beautiful! You also present the Siona lineata from an uncommun point of view, which i like a lot. Funny not to see the head. I already have seen this moth and I know, that it is not so easy to catch it.

The two views of your moth are excellent. Nice details. The brown lines show well with your good focus. Exposure is excellent. The white looks very natural against the nice green background.
I am not sure why you chose to display the butterfly so low in the frame. That is probably a rule of composition, but my preference would be to center this one. Since you only have antenna at top, there is mostly open space.

What I really like here is that the picture shows the butterfly from a very unusual angle. I love the black markings on the wings. Details, composition, colors, BG, everything is excellent. And the white insect stands out so nicely on that vivid green BG. Very well done !
