Scarce Copper (Lycaena virgaureae)

Wing length 16-17 mm. Male has an orange upper side, the female is more yellow-ish with dark brown drawings. The under side is orange-brown with big black spots on the upper wings and some white spots on the lower wings.

Flying time
End of June untill the end of august.

Appearance
Local, sometimes in great numbers - mainly on grasslands with lots of flowers.

This is really a razorsharp image!
I like so much the clear details got on the butterfly, the POV, close approach and the pose catched.
You did it great with the exposure and focus, to get this detail's level and no big noise ammount.
You made a very good composition with the subject and the crossing grasses at the background.
