Hi
Nice shot of your first Swallowtail ;-D
Nice composition and colours.

Chris

Hello Jan,
very lively and dynamic capture with an outstanding depth of field, showing excellent details of both the swallowtail and the pretty Echium plant in a beautiful, very well shaping light. Great shot!
With thanks, and best regards,
Peter

You have done a wonderful job with the macro of your first butterfly, Jan. (Do you mean this is your first 'Swallowtail' or your first butterfly?)
Great perspective, DOF and colours.
TFS.

Hi Jan,
Awesome shot with outstanding sharpness and very beautiful, natural colours. The blue of the flowers matches well with the colours of the butterfly.BG is well blurred and enphasizes the subject

Great picture, Jan! Wonderfull detail, excellent colors and DOF. This really is a very good macro. Just one question: did you use any extra lenses or close-up filters?
Bravo again and TFS

Joli cliché pour ce Machaon. La netteté et les couleurs sont belles. Netteté et PdC sont bonnes. J'aime bien voir la petite trompe sucant dans la Vipérine.
Jan, it is well seen and well done, TFS.

Hi Jan and congratulations to your first Swallowtail fully enjoying Viper's-bugloss (Echium vulgare)! You've succeeded very well, curbing your excitement and impatience.
Thank you very much for sharing your joy,
Goran

Congratulations, Jan,
the first one is always the most impressive one, I had the great luck to see one last year. And you captured it so sharp and in a wonderful pose, thanks, very well done
