I know what you mean by shy. I also tried to take pictures of this little beauty but with much worse results that yours.
Superb capture, from an excellent POV, with nice sharp details, colors and framing.

Nice capture. I tried for 4 weekends to get a good shot of this type of butterfly.I ended up getting a couple of so-so shots.This is a very good view of the beautiful blue and white frill of this butterfly.TFS
