Death Cap (Amanita phalloides)
Cap 3.5-15 cm broad, olive, olive-brown, to yellowish-brown.
Stipe 4-18 cm long, 1-3 cm thick, white to pale yellowish, volva membranous, thin, white.
Habitat: Usualy in forests with Quercus, Carpinus and other hardwoods.
Fruiting during the summer.
Deadly poisonous!!!! Symptoms usually appear 8-12 hours after eating. |

Hi Jan, I haven't seen these creamy coloured Amanitas before - only the attractive red spotted ones.
And they are an attractive looking poisonous fungi too, the shape is quite eye-catching. Good composition from down low on the ground. Well done
