Hello Jan,
This is a fine sharp and well composed shot of Rhagium mordax.
Though this species is not rare it would be nice to have a note with circumstances and habitat, etc.

What a strange beetle in this nice composition. The sharpness is good and offer interesting details on the insect. The DOF gives a 3D effect. Frame is simple and smart.

After so many butterflies and dragonflies here we have a beetle! Thanks! ;)
And this is a really nice picture. Very good DOF and composition, nice contrast and interesting composition.
You picture also prooves that not an object (here very common forest cerambycid species) but the photographer is very most important "element" of good photo :)

With that upper POV you got incredible clear and razorsharp details on the insect.
It's amazing their colors and pattern on the body.
DOF is so good, despite the open value you got all the insect focused.
I like so much the left position of the leaf to make this composition.

Wow this is an interesting and unusual little monster!Amazing clarity and detail at such an open aperture and you must have steady hands at such a slow shutter speed.Obviously you didn't have much light as it is a touch dark though not enough to spoil.Lovely natural colours.

Congratulations! You've succeeded extremely well with this shot, it's certainly a first class macro picture and of the right size for its motif (a minor flaw that the lower leg got somewhat out of focus but that's all right with me). The greens and yellows are perfectly rendered and the light is exactly right. Thanks a lot - I really like this shot,
