Yeah it seem little kitsch, but it was unrepeatable atmosphere there. Photo was taken on big DAM call NOVE MLYNY. There was very cold weather in the morning and thousands of wild geese were fly awayfrom my land to countries on nord of Europe. It was amazing, exciting sounds of thousands and thousands wings....Really nice, BUT! there was strange rain over me....rain of thousands excrements over me...:):):) ....but except this "faeces moment" it was really great mornin....;)
Photo was taken by Canon 350D, 55-200 mm USM lens (without any filter) |

Sharp fine silhouettes, with good color of background.
I like that glimps of red in the bottom center.
Seems you avoided "pollution" at the lens at least... :)

Preciosa y dinámica toma con unos colores reales. Es una de esas tomas que te ponen en la escena. Muy buen trabajo David.

Hi David
This is no kitsch...this is a very beautiful and moody picture!
The atmosphere here is really special and i know it's a sad one for all the bird photographers from all the regions that these birds were leaving from. The colors and tones here illustrate that feeling and they look very beautiful, especially knowing that you didn't use and enhancing filter.
The slow transition of light in the pictures makes all the tones blend into one-another wonderfully, while contrasting all this time with the dark silhouettes of the flying geese.
Sorry to hear about your "shower"...:))
Great work overall!
Bravo and TFS
Horia
