Agalychnis callidryas,the Red-eyed Tree Frog, is a small-sized tree frog, reaching lengths of about 7 centimeters.Red-eyed tree frogs inhabit lowland rainforests from southern Mexico, through Central America, to Northern Colombia. They are often found near rivers or ponds.The animal on this photograph is a bit from my vivarium;male.

What a great close-up. The eye is fascinating. The contrasts between black background and vivid colours of the skin and eye of the frog are great.

Great shot of the tree frog, I like the composition with the big eye taking center stage, good sharpness and nicely vibrant colours that are complimented by the black BG.
