Even I seldom post and comment do I like to watch the many fine shots.

My former post was a bit sad and this follow up dosen't make the owl alive - but still. I got him stuffed and like to show the result. It appears to the most common owl around but seldom seen in daylight.

I thought the rules was no dead animals and birds. O well.
Not bad shot, however the left side is very dark, by increasing the midtones will help very little. A good effort.

Mike

Hey Jeppe, you here too:-))
Great picture of the owl, clear and sharp and a fine pose for you

Wow.. it's just perfect!!! Congratulations ! Regards.

Okee nobody can see he is already dead. I like the composition, and the way you brought it here, good job Jeppe. Gr. Jaap

Very good picture, Mike is right, you missed a little bit its left side, but it only a matter of PP, composition is very good and very good details.

I like this bird, so mysterious. This picture is great. I like the composition. The sharpness is good. Unfortunetly the right side of the head and the eye is too dark, but maybe this is not a problem. (I hope you made this picture not in the zoo.) Well done!

Hi Jeppe

Very nice owl-shot. I guess it was not a very hard job to get this shot;-)).

I am very pleased that he ended his days at your desk or where else you keep him - he is looking pretty good. Very nice shot with plenty of details showing that he was a pretty animal when he was alive. Looking at him now and remembering the first picture I think the conservator did a very good job to make look at his best.
