[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Vi er tre gutter der tager på fototur sammen. Udveksler tips og erfaringer. Ikke mindst nyder vi hinandens selskab og naturen.
Sidste gang vi var ved Klintholm Kalkgrave var det for at fotografere Klokkefrøer, som vi vidste ynglede i området.
Denne gang tog vi dertil for, at undersøge insekt livet her i sensommeren. Blåfugle, efterårs-mosaikguldsmede, Brun mosaikguldsmed og enkelte blå mosaikguldsmede var meget aktive. Libeller og vandnymfer var der også en del af. Fokus blev dog hurtigt lagt på den ”brune” der jagede livligt.



Most of the time the big flyer Asehna grandis is very shy. Sitting low in the plants it is almost impossible too locate before it has seen you and therefore disappears. When the animal hunts and chats his meal, you can follow it to the place where it is eating.

This time the dragonfly went to my friend’s nose, eat the butterfly and fly away.

Sometime you get what you go for, other times you get nothing. This time I got more than my imagination would allow me to dream of.

what luck you had.
I've never seen such a photo - a shy insect is sitting on a face of a man - wonderful.
Now I know how big these dragonflies are, I have never seen such a kind life before.

Wow! What amazing luck. Just goes to prove that you should have your camera with you at all times to capture rare events such as these. Wonderfully sharp and enormously satisfying. A once in a lifetime experience captured forever.

Bjarne, Great profile shot of the dragon with great details, sharpness and colors..That human face roost is rather different, we usually see them on appendages here! Unusual shot..

You Lucky man, what chances of that. I have had one or two land on my back or my partners as weve been taking pictures of them, but never seen them as daring as this one. Well done.

I have seen a lot of odonata predating scenes in TN, I have some in my gallery too, but I admit this one is really original :D
