Good shot Thomas. Getting on his level gives very good results, and showing his reflection in the water too. Very clear. Well done.

Superbe composition, avec de très jolie détails dans le plumage et le regard. La netteté est excellente et les couleurs justes.

A warm welcome to Trek Nature, Thomas. Colors, details, composition and light management excellent. A bit tight on upper part. (Not bad for a Nikon D70... I'm only joking!!!). I look forward to admiring your future postings.

Well done, not easy to capture shorebirds feeding with the prey in the bill. The POV is excellent. I assume you were in some sort of hide or lying on the ground. The PP work is good and teh composition and sharpness is good.

Welcome on TN Thomas.
Great first post - the Sigma really pays off. Excellent pov looks like you were down on the belly to get this one, hope you did not get wet too wet. Great colours and excellent sharpness getting all the details and even a nice reflection in the water. Very nice composition too and very clever handling of the light - well done.

I understand why you have a special thing for this shot, Thomass. It's a very attractive image due to the low POV, the fantastic light and colors and the motion in the upper part of the water, making it very lively, as well as the action of capturing critters does.
A great first post. Many more to come, I hope!
