Grebes seldom walk on land - if ever - but this one made a 100 metre dash acroos the water.

Taken at 400 mm and using a Kenko 2x teleconverter.

Klaus, I like this photo - it's good, nice and clear. perhaps i'd crop it different - to give the bird somewhere to run to - just an idea (not my idea either - something someone said about one of my photos).
