[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I spotted this pair at my house – and when I came back for a sec-ond series the male got a bit worried and raised a bit while pointing at the lens with one leg.
From Leg to Leg are they 5-6 cm - the body less then 8mm.

I guess they are called Phalangium opilio or Harvestman (Mejer) and they are NOT spiders (So I learned years ago)

The image turned 90 deg CCW.

Please bare over with my I can’t find time to comment on all Trek sites.

I prefer this close up myself.

This link shows a picture seach on the latin name.

Jeppe
What is this, some mutated spiders? The one in the back has a snozzle that realy makes him nosey. Nice compo on these guys!

That's what you think mate!
Nice composition and a good sharp picture. A few more notes would have been nice - time allowing of course ;-)

A great capture. I love 'em spiders. Your ID is spot on. The one in the front female, other male. The compo is fine. The details sharp. I like the all legs look of it. Thanx for sharing.

A very nice capture.
Great composition and nicely detailed.
These strange spiders are quite common here,I've never had the chance to capture one though, let alone two like this.
Very good work,well done.

Hello Jeppe

Nice close up of these Dady Longlegs (or in Danish - Mejere). Very common around houses and in the "wilderness as well. Very clever use of dof to set them off and the wall backgroun really helps. They can be difficult to get in focus becaouse of the long legs.

Nice shot Jeppe, Ugly looking things aren't they. Good capture, lots of detail.

These (or a simlilar species) not only hang around in twos but collect together on trees adn plants is large clumps.

An original one, no birds, no butterflies, but a puzzle of legs, great shot, Jeppe !
(And also your preferred one...)

Interesting ensemble you spotted with these two guys, Jeppe. Great textural detail on the anatomy, and well contrasting against the almost neutral background.

Hi dear Jeppe!
Glad to see you again here:)
With this wonderful shot and funny title, well done!
But it's really amazing details for this kind of insects, light is well captured & well resulted for colors,I like it,Jeppe!
You did great.
Yours
Mohammad

I remeber you once saying you had to try macros, Jeppe. And now you supply one of the best. When you do get into something, you go all the way, I must say. And you even turned the wall into a floor for our benefit, if I understand correctly. That's very clever - that way they seem more ominous.

very good photo:-))
