Take a look at WS also!

____________

This is a Drinker Moth (Latin name: Philudoria/Euthrix potatoria; Estonian name: rohukedrik) caterpillar. Family: Lasiocampidae. The species gets its name from the caterpillars habit of drinking large droplets of rainwater or dew from the grass stems on which they feed. A large yellowish brown moth, it may be seen along road-side verges and in many grassy habitats.
