Nice first post, Roar.
The Peacock Butterfly is very nice.
It's little soft but still a nice picture. Well composed and nice colours.
Well done.

Welcome to TN.

Roar, this is a nice composition for a good shot.
Colors, POV and DOF are great.

It's an Inachis io (Linnaesu, 1758).
Also known as Peacock butterfly in english.
One of the most beautiful species!
Rare in Portugal.
Wonderful colros!
Very good details!

Hi Roar,
Excellent capture. The focus is perfect, the colors lovely and the background wonderfully soft an non-distracting, all ideal to showcase this amazing species of butterfly! Well done!
Phlr is right, it's an Inachis Io, indeed.
TFS,
Stavros
