El oso polar u oso blanco (Ursus maritimus) es un gran mamífero del orden Carnivora, familia Ursidae. Rivaliza con su pariente, el oso Kodiak (Ursus arctos middendorffi), por el título de carnívoro terrestre más grande de la Tierra.

The polar bear (Ursus maritimus) is a bear native to the Arctic Circle and its surrounding seas. The world's largest predator found on land, an adult male weighs around 400–680 kg (880–1,500 lb), while an adult female is about half that size.

Awesome shot. I'm envious of those who get to see these amazing creatures. Nice pov, the fur looks so soft and warm, but then I guess it needs to be as that water looks cold.
