Very impressive Gert, I really like this lens camera combo of yours.
I've read several technical reviews that say this camera is not as good as the Cannon 400D, but I think your shots are just as good as any from the Cannon's in this site.

I really love the Plovers, they're such cute birds as they run along the shorelines. You're very lucky to have come so close and got this splendid shot. Most impressive sharpness and colours. Looks great against the dark blue background.

An excellent shot on this Little Ringed Plover. Great quality light. The colors and detail in the plumage are exceptional. Beautiful backround shows this bird well. The only Plover birds we have are called Killdeer. They have two rings on the chest and Red eyes. Great camera work here my friend!

very good looking little plover you have uploaded.The eyes on our little plover friends are always so very large and this has such a nice yellow eye.I uploaded one with a red eye and yours is the first that I have seen with the yellow colour.You have excellent detail,focus and colour in your shot of this little one and Tfs.
