This pair of longhorn beetles were doing what comes naturally in the National Park in Koli, Northern Karelia.

Hi Alan,
this pair of longhorn beetles are Lepturobosca virens (Linnaeus, 1758). (see here).
This species is diffuse on mountains of Europe and Russia.
