Hi Orjan,

Welcome to TN,this is a nice capture,nice composed with good color and detail,it is a wonderfull to see those bears in the wild,I have been in a swedish bear hide this summer,although the bear showed up it was difficult to photograph as it was around 02.00 in the morning with bad light anyway I uploaded them to TN a few months ago in my folio.

Welcome on TN. beautiful photo. The bear is perfectly located in the photo. I like the contrast between snow and darkness of the bear. Well framed too.

That is a big bear! He looks pretty healthy too. How far away was the hide/blind? I like your composition a lot with the two verticals helping to frame the subject. The birds add a nice bonus touch of life. Thanks for sharing and welcome to TrekNature.

Great to see such a wonderful creature in its natural setting. Thanks for posting. I thought perhaps the picture lost a little sharpness in the resizing to fit TN requirements, so I sharpened it in Photoshop CS3 and posted for you to compare. I hope you like the change - I think it a small improvement. Best wishes

Wow, Örjan, this is an absolutely amazing photo. This is one of our dreams to get this close to a brown bear. Beautiful pose full of power!
