Hi All,

Just back from a small phototrip to Finland where I spent 4 nights in the woods near the russian border,as I visited this place as well in early spring last time and then the bears didnīt show up as I had expected,I liked to try it out in another season,I was lucky I was 4 nights the only photographer at (www.wildbrownbear.fi) and I spent 4 nights in different hides placed at different locations,the bears were fed with salmon and showed up late afternoon/early evening,I could make lots of captures,I will post a few of them in the forthcoming week,hope you like this one as a starter

Hello Paul!
Meeting with brown bear in the wild - a dreaming for every nature lover! Great picture documenting a very special (and I believe also rare - even in Finland) moment.
Clarity and DOF is 1st class, I like also thet picture is very "mobile" as the bear is walking :)

Wat een belevenis. Ik zou me geloof ik toch niet zo prettig voelen wanneer ik helemaal alleen ’s nachts in zo'n schuilhut zat.
Fantastische foto in uitstekende scherpte en mooi licht. Prima zachte kleuren. Het lage standpunt en de compositie zijn voortreffelijk.

What a superb capture of this Brown Bear! Just this fine capture must have made the trip to E. Finland worthwhile.
I like the POV and timing taken with excellent sharpness and colours against the OOF taiga BG
