Hi all,

Here a 2nd upload of one of the highlights of my Finland trip in the beginning of the month,the lekking capercaillie photographed from a hide,we had to overnight in the hide and from around 03.00 hrs in the morning the lekking of this fabulous bird started,an imposing sight as I may say,here an upload while he showed his plumage in the morning light, hope you like it and thanks for your visit,

The bird is so very preoccupied in its display of plumage.

Je vorige foto van de auerhoender vond ik al super, maar deze vind ik nog mooier. De pose is weer heel erg goed en deze keer van voren met de ochtendzon in de veren.
