| Taken a few hours ago. I was out in the woods with snow up my knees (what you wouldn't do for some pictures hehe), and suddenly I heard this Great Spotted Woodpecker up in the tree. I got my 1GB CF card full of RAW-pictures of this bird and this is just one of the ones that was good. Hope you like it. |

Very good shot - I have had to photgraph woodpeckers at me feeder as they are so hard to get close to. It shows the red area on the belly very well.

Very nice shot.. !! Nice and sharp..! Aldo the three parts looks a bit sharper then the bird, nice pose aswell! I like the colours, i would like to take a picture like that!
