Hi Aki,
Welcome to TrekNature. I hope you will enjoy the site as much as I do since I joined on 10 September.

Your first contribution is a very interesting rock surface. The area - where I live, near the Kruger Park in South Africa - it is VERY dry; hence I never see Lichens.

You chose a beautiful spot to take this photo, and the bright green mingling with the red on the left side, form a natural frame for the image. I also like the way the rust brown needles are sprinkled, adding interest to the photo.

The idea of the feather is original; both as eye-catch as well as title.

You could have improved the photo - if you had taken it less fast, thereby increasing the depth of field - because the right hand side is quite fuzzy, particularly at 1 o'clock of the photo. It looks to me, as if you focused to the left hand side, because everything is sharp there...
