[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Aeshna grandis (Brown Hawker - Ruskoukonkorento) and Sympetrum vulgatum (Vagrant Darter - Punasyyskorento) for size comparison. Brown Hawker is probably the most common hawker in Finland. It can be seen also far away from a body of water. Vagrant Darter can be seen almost anywhere, too. It is one of the most common species in the fall and it can survive in very low temperatures.

Hello Pentti,
a nice discovery well presented. Both species are in focus.
In particular, grandis is shown with excellent sharpness.
Based on what nature offered to you, you optimally designed the picture.
Thank you for this beautiful nature document!
Best wishes, Peter
