[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
One more Crane migration photo for your viewing pleasure. We saw more than 7,000 Cranes on the day. It was overcast, the Sun did not give any warmth and cold northern wind blew. We were freezing on the tower and I had to give a long interview to the radio about the Crane migration. But the migration day was great. Not one of us would have missed a minute of that. Bird-watchers must be crazy, eh?

Hi Pentti,
Nice shot! Love them when flying in the "V formation"!

Why is it that I relate to that one lone crane in the middle??? ! : ) I suppose I've never been one to "go with the flow" as they say. That is an amazingly lone wedge of cranes. We have thousands of geese but their formations are more fluid. They never seem to stick with it very long.
