I wonder , how the ducks could stay in the lake while it was -11 , and started to be frozen?? My fingers was frozen when i stayed out of the car for some minutes to shot this picture.

Hi Maged, Very clear and well coloured nature photo. Nature is amazing how the birds can stand these temperature. Good note. TFS. Murray.
I suppose they don't have the option of taking shelter in a warmed car. : ) Perhaps the ice isn't as cold as the air temperature. I think they have a form of antifreeze in their feet. Still, I think if given a choice, they'd take the car.
The colors are so rich in this image. The light is super and that smooth ice surface is lovely.
