Brilliant capture! I love the contrast of the white gull's head against its darker wing. Very sharp with no motion blur visible at the tips of the wings and eye pleasing position of the bird in the upper third of the image. Congratulations,

Maybe it is a common gull, but you made it look very uncommon with this great photo. It speaks of majestic gracefulness and elegance.
A lovely composition with natural colours, pin sharp details, a BG that enhances and isolates the bird, and perfect exposure.

you and your flying birds - I love every single shots so much. This gull is beautiful, I also tried to catch one at the sea, but I can't do it, so I stay at my Macros and be happy ;-) So now you must say - are we still friends after the play yesterday? Now we have to play against Argentina, I think we will loose. Bye bye and have a good start into the new week

Hi Gert,
A lovely shot of this Gull, perfect DOF, great detail and exposure and nicely framed. Looking at the whites on the top of the head and the overall brightness of the picture I think the exposure is perfect. Fine-tuning at it's best!
