Der Kleine Eisvogel (Limenitis camilla) ist ein Schmetterling (Tagfalter) aus der Familie der Edelfalter (Nymphalidae), Gattung Limenitis (Eisvogel).
Limenitis camilla fliegt in ein bis zwei Generationen von Juni bis August.

Raupenfutterpflanzen sind Symphoricarpus racemosa, Lonicera spec., z.B. Rote Heckenkirsche (Lonicera xylosteum). Die Raupe überwintert in einem tütenförmig zusammengesponnen Blatt, genannt Hibernaculum oder Hibernarium.

Tha image has good details, I feel sorry everytime I see a worn-out butterfly wing, contrast is good with the well-seen BG.
