Shaded Broad-bar Scotopteryx chenopodiata
(Linnaeus, 1758)
Wingspan 25-30 mm.

Widespread and fairly common throughout Britain, inhabiting a range of open habitats.

The species has one generation, the adults flying in July and August.

The larvae feed on vetch (Vicia) and clover (Trifolium).

Hello My neighbor, I dont know how you spot this and manage to take a shot. The position from the picture looks very low area. The wings are slightly OOF on the right side but the eye and other areas are on strong focus. TFS Ganesh
