Himanthoglossum hircinum, Orchis bouc observé sur la pelouse sèche de La Côte à la Chaire à Dieu.
"Vivace, grisâtre, petit à moyen. Feuilles oblongues lancéolées, se fanant tôt. Fleurs vert grisâtre lavées et tachées de pourpre ; pétales et sépales en capuchon ; long labelle en lanière trilobé ; éperon court ; forte odeur de bouc ; épi enchevêtré ; floraison de juin à juillet. Wonderful capture of the lizard orchid.showing it off very well.In the UK it can only be found in about 3 locations and we have to travel quite a distance.
