Those are actually the dispersing fruits of probably an aster-like flower (Compositea).

Very nice lighting.

I can't help with the ID, but I like the composition made with all that white flowers/seeds?
A very contrasting image, due to the whites and blacks present on it.

I like your choice of selected subject. This plants is really amazing especially under backlight. Great DOF and sharpness of the image, nice combination of well illuminated lawn and dark impressive BG. Nice, elegant shot. Bravo and TFS.

Hoi Nel,
Een erg mooie foto. De zon heeft deze onbekende plant prachtig weten te verlichten en de donkere achtergrond maakt dit nog sterker. Je hebt het zochte detail in de zaden erg mooi weten vast te leggen zonder dat deze overbelicht raakte. Mbt de ID, je kunt het best even een oproepje plaatsen in het forum. Het heeft mij ook geholpen met een bloem.

The backlight works nicely to hignlight the flowers!
It is a nice composition with a good feeling of depth, but sorry those are unknown to me...
