Polygala calcarea, Chalk Milkwort ou Polygala des sols calcaires observé sur la pelouse sèche de La Côte à la Manche.
"Vivace, bas, feuilles obtuses, la moitié supérieure élargie, les inférieures pétiolées, en rosette. Fleurs 4 à 7 mm bleu gentiane vif ou blanches ; floraison d'avril à juin. Fruit plus larges que les sépales int. Sols herbeux seulement sur calcaire." (Guide des fleurs sauvages aux éditions Delachaux et Niestlé) |

This is a new plant to me!
I thought it was a blue bell at first, but of course, this flower has a white centre.
Lovely details of the leaves as well as the flowers, which assists in identification.
Your well chosen dof keeps the flower sharp whilst rendering the b/g undistractingly blurred.
