Great inflight shot! You are an expert on that! This time different subject and beautiful composition with that flowers, bg and soft colours! I'm trying to shoot in-flight shots too! But i use flash on my shots! So i can't have soft colours and beautiful composition like yours!

I would have enjoyed taking this one... getting the DoF just right must have been tricky with no opportunity for retake. Brilliant composition. Well framed to complete the just right look, great write up! Thank you for sharing.

A great capture here. I think it is particularly difficult to get a good moving shot. Your photo shows the irridescent purple colour in the wings beautifully.

Well done with this in flight shot of the carpenter bee especially since it was done with a DSLR which is rather difficult to handle in this circumstance.
I like your composition with the bee in the left side of the frame and the flowers giving balance on the right hand side. The colours and details are great. The OOF BG is marvellous and the exposure was spot-on.
Very well done and TFS.

I like composition. The Bee suspended on a blurred multi-coloured background and the group of light daisies contrasting with the dark body of the Xylocopa. Très bon.

Great capture. I was seeing one or two ony per somer when I was living in France. None any more now. Never got a chance to photograph those.
You did impressively well: close and in flight.
