WOW!
Now i know this is really rare! A stag beatle in flight!!! Splendid, my friend...truely magnificent!
Sharpness, colors, light, BG, POV, DOF...all are at the highest possible level! Next to those, the classical great framing and a very nice composition, makes this post a stunning one.
Very well done!

Another excellent inflight from your hand. You have stopped the action very well at 1/1600th with sharp details. Well composed with good detail, DOF, POV, and exposure. This multi-colored OOF BG is very nice as well :)

La dernière fois que j'ai vu un cerf-volant vivant je n'avais pas plus de dix ans, depuis ce jour ils semblent avoir disparu en Alsace... Ou alors c'est moi qui regarde mal... Quoi quil en soit cette photo est superbe ! Vous avez parfaitement bien figé l'insecte, avec d'excellents détails? les couleurs sont magnifiques, tout comme la composition, le POV et l'arrière-plan. Hello Didier,
just browsing through what I have missed during my absence in August: I like this shot of the flying stag beetle as much as the ones you showed before. Precise focussing, and a think you made a reasonable compromise on depth of field as you have been directing against a nearby BG.
The composition is excellent, and the pose is phantastic.
