Excelent capture of the pardosa. We have lots here running around also.
Well done on this composition.
I have some you might be interested in.

P.s. funny, they look dark grey with the naked eye, but up close, golden brown.
Hi Sebastien, it's a great photo and very interesting to see one on ice, I've never seen such a sight. Beautifully detailed. This genus I also find extremely difficult to ID. I'm glad you liked the book :-)

Thank you Sebastien you have answered an ident question for me. The shots a good one nicely detailed especially considering the massive contrast between the BG and the subject.
TFS and look forward to the expanded note.

I wonder if the hairs on the spiders legs are standing out like that because it is freezing!?
Anyway - Excelent background, composition and contrast between the ice and spider.

I am not fond of spiders, Sebastian, however this is very unique and well done. Excellent BG for showing off the fine details of this spider's features. I have a hunch that perhaps we will be seeing more "on ice" themes in the macro world of TN.
Thank you for the exceptional posting.

Very interesting composition Sebastien. The spider is a bit dark but must be normal in such a bright BG.
Well done and thank you for sharing.

Hi Sebastien good catch of this spider, and on snow too. I can see the patterns on the legs, so I think it is really clear. Very good. TFS.

Hi Sebastien!
This is a very interesting photo from the biological point of view! Spiders are one of the most common invertebrates active on the snow cover. For me it is especially nice photograph because I had oportunity to participate in studies on the winter active insects and spiders in Central Poland.
Best regards from Lodz,
Radomir
