Nice shot! You've done a good job of making your subject fill the frame, and your timing must have been good too. Couple of things though, firstly there's a little bit of overexposure - particularly on the top of his wings, and above his eye - mainly caused by the harsh lighting reflecting back - were you using flash? Secondly I think it would really benefit from sharpening a little more. Thirdly, there are some artifacts around the edges of him less JPEG compression would help there I think (did you run it through NeatImage?). Finally I find the text a little too intrusive. That said, your photography is good, the note is excellent, and I like the image a lot :-D

Superb Macro Sebastien, so much detail in this head shot.
2 small nits 1) the front antenae dropping forward of the DOF.2) the bright artifacts on the head and shield behind head , these you could clone out easliy enough.

La macro est un art de précision qui demande beaucoup d'habilité et de précision.
J'apprécie beaucoup le sujet, la netteté et la maîtrise de l'exposition.
Un cadre moins épais me fera mieux profiter de la scène.
